All of the public services for Diamond City are available through City Hall located at 319 Diamond Blvd. in Diamond City. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday excluding Holidays.  For more information Contact us at (870) 422-7212.  They will be happy to help you.

Diamond City’s water source is the Ozark Mountains Public Water Authority which draws water from Bull Shoals Lake. The storage capacity for the city is 200,000 gallons. The pumping capacity is 300 GPM. On an average day, about 50,000 gallons are used. All rates are based upon water usage per month. (Rates as of April 2022)

Base Water Rates: (for the first 1000 gallons):  (All flat rates + taxes) Water $25, Sewer $21, Trash $21.58

Residential Rates: (Over 1000 gallons):  Water Base Rate $25.00 (anything over 1000 is .0135 cents per gallon), Sewer Flat Rate of $21 (anything over 1000 gallons is 0.0110 cents per gallon), Trash $21.58 and taxes. 

Senior Discount: (65 & Older): $10.00

Minimum Rate #1 (Seasonal/Inactive with no water usage): Admin Fee $40.40 plus taxes. (With No Trash Fee)

Minimum Rate #2 (Up to 200 Gallons): Water $25.00, Sewer Flat Rate $21, and Taxes. (With No Trash Fee)

Commercial Water Rates: (Inside of the City Limits):  Same as Residential Rates (No Sanitation provided)

Commercial/Industrial Water Rates: (Outside of the City Limits):  Same as Residential Rates, no sewer offered plus taxes.

Due to the terrain in Diamond City, there are areas of the City that require a sewage grinder pump.  This grinder pump grinds the sewage as it leaves the property owners’ sewage lines and then pushes it into the mainline for transmission to the sewage processing lift station.  For a newly built residence, the owner is responsible for the purchase and installation of the pump on the resident’s sewer line.  For further information as to where a grinder pump is needed, contact Public Works at (870)416-9156.

Residential Rate:
65-gallon poly cart =$21.58
95-gallon poly cart or 2 – 65 gallon poly carts =$23.23
Commercial Accounts can contact Methvin Sanitation @ (870)741-8095 for services.

All trash must be placed in a plastic bag of sufficient strength. Maximum weight of 40 lbs. per bag. Allowance of trash is what can fit inside the blue poly cart provided by Methvin Sanitation. Packing peanuts must be placed in a plastic bag to prevent blowing out of the truck when dumping. Trash left outside of the cart will be left unless called in and paid for before 4:30 PM on Tuesday. Extra bags are $3.00 per bag. Please have trash out by 6:00 AM on Wednesdays. 

DIAMOND CITY REQUIREMENTS FOR STARTING WATER/SEWER/SANITATION SERVICES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

General Requirements:   Please come in early enough that the application process can be completed before 3 PM to have enough time for Public Works to complete the turn-on before 3:30 PM. Otherwise, connections will be made the next business day. The owner or owner’s representative will have to be present at the residence before Public Works will turn the water on. Water service will not be turned on during the weekend days.

For Property Owner Applicants:  You will need to come to City Hall at 319 N Diamond Blvd. and bring proof of ownership of the property. We will need to make a copy of your valid driver’s license or valid state ID and an application will have to be filled out. A $200 deposit is required for the meter and $50 is required for the connection fee.  The deposit is a refundable deposit after two years but the connection fee is not refundable.

Water Tap: $1,000 or actual cost
Upgrades – 1″ tap at $1,500; 2″ tap at $4,500

Sewer Tap: $1,000 or actual cost

For Renters/Lessors/ Buy on Contract Applicants:  You will need to come to City Hall at 319 N Diamond Blvd. and bring your contract, lease, or rental agreement. We will need to make a copy of your valid driver’s license or valid state ID and an application will have to be filled out.  A $200 deposit is required for the meter and $50 is required for the connection fee.  The deposit is held until the applicant moves and the final bill is paid from the deposit and the remainder, if any, is refunded to the customer.
 
For Commercial Applicants: The process for commercial applicants is to bring your ownership papers, contract, lease, or rental agreement. We will need to make a copy of your valid driver’s license or valid state ID and an application will have to be filled out.  A $200 deposit is required for the meter and $50 is required for the connection fee.  The deposit is held until the applicant/business closes and the final bill is paid from the deposit and the remainder, if any, is refunded to the customer. However, commercial accounts are not charged the sanitation fees by the City.  Each applicant is required to contact Methvin Sanitation and they will determine the commercial accounts sanitation costs and will bill the business separately.
 
For Industrial Applicants:
The owner/representative of the company will need to come to City Hall and bring proof of ownership of the property or the lease/rental agreement. We will need to make a copy of your valid driver’s license or valid state ID and an application will have to be filled out. A $200 deposit is required for the meter and $50 is required for the connection fee. The deposit is held until the applicant/business closes and the final bill is paid from the deposit and the remainder, if any, is refunded to the customer.  The connection fee is non-refundable
